Txemy’s installation was comprised by a mural on the booth, and 4 medium canvases spray
on, one big painting, a piece on thin paper, as well as 2 projections.
Amaia’s installation was a reproduction of her studio, her place of work where everyday use
has organically created a representation of her thoughts and moment in life. A combination of
illustrations, photos, found objects and memorandum that illustrate her thesis.

Txemy presented an exploration of the self and the arrival of a new identity through his technical
work. A study of shapes, techniques and colors, he developed a deep and complex narrative
about the frugal and the eternal after the experience of fatherhood. The first time he had
encountered what for him is eternal.
Amaia Arrazola explored her new identity after becoming a mother. The lines of her
previous individuality have blurred and what used to be the self is now divided in two,
simultaneously reconfiguring the lines of the pre-existing notion of the prior self and the
projection of a future self. In a conceptual and physical level she described a “desgarro del yo”
tearing of the self, shown by her scars, the curves and folds on her skin, sweating blood and
life, as well as by the time and priorities of her everyday life.
